Why Everyone Else Was Getting Results… And I Wasn’t

Break The Loop Client

I didn’t understand why everyone else seemed to be getting their person and I wasn’t.

Not just that, people were manifesting money, health, whole life upgrades. And I felt stuck.

I did end up figuring it out. I manifested my person and the best-paying job I’ve ever had, so I want to share what actually changed for me in case someone’s in that same spot.

Looking back, I was trying to manifest from a version of me that couldn’t have any of that.

Love didn’t feel natural to me. Feeling relaxed about money didn’t feel natural either. But I thought if I just did the techniques, that would fix it.

It didn’t.

What I didn’t get at the time is that I was using techniques to avoid my triggers. But those triggers were actually showing me exactly who I was being.

It’s like having a toothache and using anesthesia. The pain goes away for a bit, but the problem is still there. And every time it comes back, it feels worse.

That’s what was happening to me.

Doing the identity work, actually letting go of who I used to be, was intense. I won’t sugarcoat it. I saw how much pain I had been carrying and how long I’d been living like that.

I thought it would take forever, but it didn’t. A couple of months of being really consistent with the work made a huge difference.

As I kept going, the whole unconditional love / God part started to make more sense, not just as an idea, but as something real.

If you’re stuck, I’ll say this honestly: you can’t skip that part.

Before all of this, I was extremely insecure. I had a pattern of getting a little too obsessed with a crush, and it never went anywhere. As soon as they noticed I liked them, they’d disappear.

That did wonders for my self-esteem.

I met someone I actually felt a connection with, and that’s when I found manifestation. I went all in, but I could feel the resistance the whole time.

Why would he want me?

In my head I was unattractive, boring, broke. That was my baseline, and I couldn’t just persist my way out of it.

It made me anxious, because I thought, if I can’t change this, I’ll never get anything I want.

Finding the whole unconditional love/God angle gave me relief. For once, it didn’t feel like I had to force myself to change. I could let something deeper take over.

When I started coaching, my situation with him was pretty minimal. I’d see him at gatherings. He’s in a band, and there was a casual connection through mutual friends. Nothing serious.

Also, he was always around women who I thought were way prettier and more interesting than me.

During the process, I had a moment where I really saw myself clearly. And I cried because of how I had been treating myself. Constant judgment. Always assuming I wasn’t enough before anyone else could think it.

Letting that go felt freeing. Like I was meeting myself for the first time.

After that, the imaginal work was actually easy. We did the scenes, the questions, the energy ball.

And things started shifting fast.

First of all, I felt different. I actually felt attractive. That alone changed how I showed up. I wasn’t trying so hard anymore.

And I could tell he was changing too.

Instead of me chasing his attention, it started to feel like he was trying to get mine.

One night he sat next to me at the bar. First real one-on-one conversation.

We clicked immediately. He asked me to go see a film with him because no one else is into that kind of stuff.

I had never experienced a crush like this. I wasn’t overthinking everything. I could just be myself.

We kept seeing each other, and one night he took me to a bar his friend owns.

That’s where we had our first kiss.

And when he introduced me, he said, “this is my girl.”

I went from never having a boyfriend to being with someone who actually feels right for me. He’s funny, kind, and we just get each other.

And about the job, I think this new self concept totally shone through in the interview process. We did the energy ball exercise in which I was looking at my bank account. Now I don’t have to worry about bills and can spend money on nice things. In this economy that counts as a miracle.
