She Couldn't See It, But It Was There

The Shift Client:

When I came to you, my life had really unravelled. I had lost my job, the man I was seeing disappeared, and I ended up in a smaller place, working just to get by. Everything felt flat, like I was just moving through things without any real sense of direction.

Around that time, I met someone. He was taken, and even though that went against who I thought I was, I still got involved. It was the only thing that made me feel something. That feeling of being wanted, even in a situation like that, was hard to walk away from which sounds bad, but it’s true.

I knew I needed something deeper than just trying to “think positive” or fix the situation. I had already tried that version of myself before, and it clearly wasn’t enough.

I think the first real shift was just being honest with myself. Through the work, I started seeing patterns I hadn’t wanted to look at. The way I attached, the way I settled, the way I confused intensity with connection I kept thinking it was about him, but it really wasn’t, which was hard to admit. What surprised me the most was that I didn’t have to fight it or override it. I stayed with it.

The emotional work felt very different from anything I had done before. It wasn’t mental. It felt more like stepping into parts of myself I had left behind and letting them be felt fully. There were also moments where I honestly thought, this isn’t doing anything, but I didn’t really have another option, so I stayed with it. I kept going until the identity collapsed.

It’s hard to explain in a simple way, but it felt like I came into contact with something very real inside me. Not an idea, not something I was trying to create. It felt really close. Almost intimate, which sounds strange to say, but that’s the closest I can describe it.. Like being met from within instead of reaching for something outside.

There was this sense of being wanted, without needing to prove anything. It was quiet but strong.

I know dying to yourself sounds scary, but it was pure bliss.

From there we played with some states. I could contemplate something and instantly be filled with it. I chose a sexy one and the man I had met was pining me up against the wall like the world was going to end. It was instant manifestations over and over.

I wasn’t trying to make anything happen anymore. I was just moving differently. I remember focusing on the feeling of having a space that felt like mine, somewhere I could actually relax. That same week I got a call about a job I had applied to months before, which allowed me to start moving toward that.

The man I had met at work begged to stay in touch and keep the relationship going.

If there was nothing I actively wanted, I would stay in answer mode. I would sometimes be cheeky and entertain a specific text. I got it every time.

One session I felt I was ready to entertain the relationship I wanted. I felt a little bit of resistance, but we stayed with it and used it the sensation of unbelief and “it happened anyway” for the end. This is when something unexpected happened. I wanted it to be the man I had met. Part of me felt surprised.

I liked feeling important, but he was different from what I thought I wanted. I had to make sure to let the old story go because he was being hot and cold because of my own internal dichotomy. When I let myself feel the kind of relationship I actually wanted, I realized I didn’t want something half-available. And instead of trying to change him, I stayed with that feeling.

This change took some time to integrate and I had to remember that the end felt better than what was happening in the middle.

This was the next big change in me. I feel in a kind of love that I had never dreamed of before. I was talking to God and just wanted to be his, completely his. And I was getting the same back. God was all mine. The feeling of being touched from within became more intense. I didn’t know if I was going crazy or having a supernatural experience.

I remember being in awe that I could really have my end. I knew that I could have it that same day. I don’t know if this is what people in the Neville community refer to as the sabbath, but it certainly felt like the afterglow of making love. Just remembering that moment I’m crying.

The next day the man I had met was desperate to see me. I had never seen him like this before. He wanted all of me, not just my body. He wanted my heart, my future, my entire life. He looked at me like I was the most precious thing in the world. He looks at me like that every single day now, and I am still in awe at the love I’m experiencing in my heart.

The transformation process was against everything I thought I had to do. The person I am now, I would have thought the relationship was fake and being played up for social status or something. Now I understand love like this is real.
