He Lost Feelings Overnight… Then Sent Me Roses
Regular Coaching Client (3 Sessions):
I had manifested the relationship I wanted, and then one day it felt like it disappeared. He had been pulling away for a while, so I wasn’t completely shocked, but it still hurt.
When we talked about it, he didn’t have a real explanation. He just said he didn’t feel the same. That was it.
The problem was, I was in love with him. I wasn’t ready to accept that it was over, so if there was even a small chance to get him back, I was going to try.
And I did try.
I tried everything. Affirmations, SATS, even random things like spells at one point. I was consistent.
Nothing worked. If anything, I got worse. More obsesses with fixing my state and controlling things. Checking my phone constantly, trying to control every thought, every reaction. I hated feeling like I could do it wrong.
That’s when I signed up for coaching. I needed help, I couldn’t stay in that state anymore.
The biggest shift was realizing my entire sense of safety, worth, and emotional stability was built on him choosing me.
My sense of safety, my mood, my worth, it all depended on that relationship.
I hadn’t even realized how extreme it was until I saw it through emotional revision. That part was uncomfortable, but it changed my perception real fast.
The first changes were internal. For the first time, I wasn’t waking up with anxiety in my chest. I wasn’t checking my phone first thing in the morning. I could actually go through my day without feeling like something was missing.
I stopped reacting to everything. I felt more grounded. I wasn’t constantly waiting for a text or a sign. I could actually go through my day and feel okay.
People were nicer. I’d get small things handed to me without asking. My days just felt smoother.
And at some point, thinking about a relationship stopped feeling stressful and started feeling good. Even exciting.
That’s when we went into the end. I didn’t have to force it. I could actually stay there because of the foundation we built.
Then one day, he texted me asking if I’d be home.
I thought he might come over.
That night, he didn’t come over. Instead, I got a delivery. A dozen red roses. A card apologizing for breaking my hear. Of course, my mind tried to go to what if this doesn’t mean anything?
But I didn’t spiral like before. I just stayed where I was internally. I thanked him and accepted the apology.
We started talking again, but lightly.
Then he asked if he could come over. He said he missed me.
When we talked, he told me he didn’t even understand what had happened before. He said he had lost feelings, maybe because he wasn’t in a bad place mentally, but now he felt like himself again.
And the feelings were back.
He told me he couldn’t picture his life without me. The same man who had said he just didn’t feel the same. That’s where we are now.
What I can say, honestly, is this:
If you’ve been trying everything and nothing is working, it’s not because you’re doing it “wrong” or because it’s not possible for you.
I thought the same thing.
But what I was being honest with myself about my inner world. This is what actually changes things, even when the situation looks final.
Thank you Paulie from saving me time and being firm with the process. I really needed it.
